An SOS Care Job Coach works with individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities to find skill-appropriate employment in the community. The Job Coach works with the participant throughout the entire process including assisting with resume writing, applications, interview skills, new job orientation, and on-the-job training. Individuals employed through this program will be paid competitive wages (at least minimum wage) and they will be performing the same tasks and duties as anyone else in their same position.
We Provide Job Coaching Services in the Following Counties:
SOS Care is a South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs approved provider of individual employment services, and as such, offers Job Coaching Services to individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities who are between the ages of 16 – 64.
Additional participation requirements include being eligible for DDSN services, the individual must have exited school, and must have either the Community Supports Waiver or the ID/RD Waiver.
