Mental Health Counseling
Our Mental Health Counseling Program is designed to support individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or an Intellectual Disability who are preparing to, or currently live independently. Individuals in this stage of life can experience many different emotions including anxiousness, worry, excitement, and uncertainty. This program supports individuals when experiencing those emotions by offering both group and individual counseling sessions centered around topics related to living independently. Topics include dealing with roommates, romantic relationships, homesickness, safety, and more. Adults diagnosed with ASD or an intellectual disability who are getting prepared to live independently in the near future or who are currently living independently are encouraged to apply to this program.
This program accepts Medicaid/Healthy Connections Insurance, BCBS Insurance, or Private Pay. Interested individuals with coverage through other insurance providers are still encouraged to apply so your information is on file and we are able to contact you if we accept other insurance providers in the future.
